Support the Rotary Clubs of Summerville
Duck adoptions and sponsorships for the 2023 Race are no longer available, but you can still help Charleston area nonprofits with your gift.
There are three Rotary Clubs in Summerville – the Summerville Club (meets for lunch) founded in 1927; the Summerville Oakbrook Club (breakfast); and the Summerville Evening Club (dinner). Collectively, these clubs have over 160 members and have a long history of serving community needs and performing Rotary service projects. After Hurricane Hugo, Rotary was a key player in forming a Crisis Ministry that raised over $250,000 and more in materials. More recently, the clubs support good works such as the “Gift of Literacy” book donation program, construction of a covered bus stop structure, and “random acts of kindness” monthly.
